Not at all. I mean hindi naman siguro nila gusto akong mag-resign ‘no? Pero, if there’s one thing I discovered about being in government service is yung naging
purpose mo sa buhay is parang mas naging malaki siya.
“I’m really happy with what I’m doing. I’m happy with being able to support yung talagang, may makita lang akong filmmaker na nag-succeed, yung may programs lang kaming naging effective, parang it’s your joy.
“I really feel fulfilled in that sense,” ayon kay Liza nang humarap siya sa entertainment press para sa launching ng bago nilang proyekto, ang CineMarya Film Festival na ginanap sa Cinematheque ng FDCP. Pareho silang
“There’s a semblance of normalcy na sa amin. Siyempre marami rin kaming na-miss during the time we were both working. Kasi siyempre talagang may masa-sacrifice na family time. Medyo nagpi-pick up in terms of him finding
himself, doing a lot of singing gigs again,” sey pa ng FDCP chair.
Talagang 100 percent of his time ide-devote niya. Hindi siya kakanta, hindi siya magpi-perform. Talagang na-sacrifice niya talaga yung other love niya,” paliwanag pa ni
Liza.
Ayaw nang magdetalye pa ang actress-public servant sa mga rason ni Ice kung bakit ito nag-resign, “Personal yung ano, what he’s going through in terms of understanding kung ito ba, para sa kanya o hindi. Siguro, at the time
that he was chair, he gave more than 100 percent. I can be sure of that.
“Yung interfaces sa kabataan sobra. But now na open ulit yung opportunity niya to focus on other things, nakikita ko na naeengganyo ulit siya to go back to singing ganyan,” aniya.
Katuwang nila rito ang Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) at Philippine Commission on Women (PCW).
