1. Ang rubber shoes po ba ay nire-require po sa isang warehouse for security purposes daw po sa isang empleyado?
2. Tama po bang pagbabawalan ng isang warehouse management ang mga empleyado na umupo sa isang warehouse na pinapasukan nila?
3. At kung wala na daw po gagawin, lalabas na lang muna ang empleyado, para sa labas na lang umupo?

REPLY: Thank you Good afternoon! The employer may require employees to wear rubber shoes if it is in the company policy. Howe-ver, if the company views rubber shoes as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and requires a certain brand or type, they shall provide it for their employees.
On the other hand, on the inquiry about sitting at work, the DOLE issued the Department Order 178, series of 2018 which mandates the safety and health measures for workers who by the nature of their work have to stand at work.
