Jake Cuenca epektib na kontrabida: Akala nila binababoy ko!

HINDI bothered si Jake Cuenca na ma-typecast bilang kontrabida.
Sa Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin ay kontrabida siya ni Gerald Anderson.
“I think I’m coming up with the best performances of my life. No, I’m not bothered. I’am an actor. I do what needs to be done. Sa akin kasi, ang trabaho ay trabaho. Sabi ko nga a year ago I was doing Passion de Amor and they were loving me.
“Kontrabida ako ngayon and they hate me. In all honesty, it’s the same for me. Love and hate is super the same thing,” say ng actor.
Sa “Ang Panday” naman where he played Lizardo ay na-compare naman siya sa namayapang Hollywood actor na si Heath Ledger.
“I’m flattered. Ginawa ko ‘yung first sequence ko tapos ang iniisip ng mga tao ay binababoy ko ang role kasi medyo flamboyant. I don’t want to compare myself to Heath Ledger. As an actor, I am on my own class so I don’t compare myself to other actors. But then, to be compared to him ay nakakakilabot, nakaka-flatter.
“Hindi ko siya ginaya. Ang maganda sa nangyari sa Panday, it was a conscious effort na ‘wag gayahin si Joker. Want to come up with a different.
