Piloto ng CebuPac grounded

ISA na namang eroplano ng Cebu Pacific at mga piloto nito ang grounded ngayon matapos itong makasira ng limang ilaw sa runway matapos lumanding sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport kamakalawa ng hapon.

Ito ang sinabi kahapon ng Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines na siyang nag-iimbestiga sa kaso. Samantala, inanunsyo ng Cebu Pacific kahapon na patuloy pa rin ang kanilang mga biyahe ayon sa itinakdang schedule.

Base sa incident report mula sa Manila International Airport Authority nitong Huwebes, lumanding sa NAIA ang Cebu Pacific Flight 57 448 mula Iloilo alas 4:16 ng hapon, at habang nagta-taxi ang eroplano sa Runway 06/24, gumilid ito at tamaan ang limang ilaw sa runway.

Gayunman, nakarating pa rin ang eroplano sa Terminal 3 ramp at nailabas nang maayos ang mga pasahero nito. Wala namang naiulat na nasugatan sa 85 pasahero nito.ayon kay Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Abigail Valte, base na rin sa sinabi ni Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) Director General William Hotchkiss III, dahil sa insidente ay otomatikong grounded ang mga piloto ng nasabing aircraft dahil kailangan silang isailalim sa imbestigasyon.

Base sa radio report na kinu-quote CAAP deputy director Capt. John Andrews, grounded ang piloto na nakilala lamang sa pangalang “J. Palomillo”.
