Xian: Nang makilala ko si Bea nagulat ako! Wow, kalog pala siya!
PAPASOK na ang character ni Totoy played by Xian Lim sa A Love To Last.
“I think this was mentioned to me last year pa. Ang character ko dito is Totoy. Kababata siya ni Andeng (Bea Alonzo). Mahal niya talaga si Andeng. Naunahan lang siya. And now he’s back. He is doing everything he can to win Andeng,” chika ni Xian.
When asked about his working with Bea, Xian excitedly said, “It is the first time (for me to work with Bea). I’m so happy to be working with her. Ang tagal ko na siyang gustong makatrabaho. Everyone is nice. They welcomed me with warm embrace.”
He recalled his first meeting with Bea.
“Tiningnan ko siya sa dressing room if I can just say ‘Hi!’. Sabi niya, ‘thank you for being here.’ Konting kuwentuhan about life. She’s such a big star but noong nakakuwentuhan ko siya, wow, kalog pala itong taong ito.”
This is the first time na Xian will be working without Kim.
“Me and Kim, I guess 2017 ay hindi po muna kami magkakatrabaho. The management po kasi have different plan. Of course, it has its pros and cons. Hindi naman natin maiiwasan ‘yan. Siyempre ‘yung sumuporta since 2011 ay nagulat sila. ‘San namin kayo makikita? ‘Yung pinundar nating KimXi, nasaan na?’”
Of course, it’s not the same for Xian.
“Siyempre mami-miss ko si Kim but it’s part of our job to grow, na makita kami ng audience namin in different projects. At the same time, ‘wag silang mawalan ng pag-asa na forever na ito,” paliwanag ni Xian.
