Bb.Joyce sa Coco-Vice movie: Lumebel din kami sa epalan!

INAMIN sa amin ni Binibining Joyce Bernal, direktor ng pelikulang “The Super Parental Guardians” na tinanggihan niya ang unang konseptong inihain sa kanya ni Vice Ganda dahil hindi niya gusto ang temang superhero.

Kuwento ni direk Joyce, “Before merong binigay si Vice (na concept), superhero ganyan-ganyan, sabi ko, hindi ko kaya, ayoko ng superhero. So, tinanggihan ko, kaya ang unang magkasama talaga, kami ni Coco (Martin plus Onyok Pineda at Awra Briguela), tapos pumasok na si Vice.”

Hindi raw kasi type ng direktor ang effects-effects, “Hindi ako happy sa effects-effects. Ayoko nang lumilipad-lipad,” aniya.

Pagkatapos ng presscon ng “The SPG” kamakailan ay nakausap namin si direk Joyce, diretsong tanong namin sa kanya kung nakialam si Vice sa script ng pelikula nila dahil nga nasanay siya noong nabubuhay pa si Direk Wenn Deramas na nakikipag collaboration siya pagdating sa script.

Pag-amin ni Bernal, “Opo, nakialam sila, pero okay lang kasi hindi ko nga alam ‘yung bading na humor, kasi ‘yung karakter daw niya (Vice) baklang lapot, e, ano ba ‘yung baklang lapot, hindi ko alam ‘yun.

“Si Coco naman, sa aksyon lang at saka ang pangingialam ni Coco is before (shooting), okay lang naman sa akin na makialam ka before the shooting, huwag naman ‘yung on the day ng shoot mismo,” sey ni direk Joyce.

Dagdag pa niya, “I like ‘yung parang mayroon kang sariling take, sariling suggestions, but with the case of Coco and Vice, iba rin ‘yung datingan, epal sa epal. Level naman kami sa epalan.”
