KathNiel fans inupakan ang tabloid na tumawag kay Daniel ng ‘adik’

WONDER if Karla Estrada will do something over that screaming tabloid headline which put her son Daniel Padilla in a bad light. Medyo naloka nga kami at the temerity of the editor who apparently didn’t think twice in making that sensational headline.

Pumalag ang colleague naming si Dominic Rea, a known defender of Daniel. Kapalag-palag naman talaga ang headline. For one, there’s no truth sa screaming headline na ‘yon and for sure, it wasn’t what the story is all about.

Pumalag din ang editor ng tabloid after receiving kaliwa’t kanang bashing sa social media. Ipinamukha niya na malaki ang naitutulong ng tabloids sa pagsikat ng isang celebrity pero madalas ay hindi sila napapasalamatan.

Apparently, nag-generalize ang ilang KathNiel fans and took a swipe at tabloid writers dahil nga sa headline na ‘yon about their idols. Pinalabas nilang walang kuwenta ang tabloid writers at walang pinag-aralan.

While we beg to disagree with how fans judged tabloid writers, we feel that the tabloid editor had it coming. Any fan would be disappointed at the way his idol was written in the headline lalo pa’t may drug issue na kaakibat.

Kung sinasabing basahin muna ang context para malaman kung may basehan ang headline, we felt na hindi naman ganoon dapat ang paggawa ng headline. While headlines should be attention-getting, it should be within the parameters of what the story is all about. Too much sensationalism will surely kill the story.

So, how did the fans reacted when a popular website posted the screaming headline? “Its a tabloid kaya ganyan sila ka informal to the point na misleading ang banners ng front page. Gusto kasi nila may bumili ng tabloid nila at may magbasa.”

“Kahit tabloid yan, hindi naman tama na basta2 na lang sila gumawa ng headline para lang makabenta. Di rin ako Kathniel fan pero below the belt na talaga ito. Makonsensya naman kayo!”

“Not a KN fan but Just because it’s a tabloid doesn’t mean we should just look the other way. They need to be called out for this. It is not ok and it’s unacceptable.” That’s how they reacted!!!
