Enchong Dee learned something valuable from – of all people – a taxi driver. He was recently in Singapore and riding a cab he went into a conversation with the cab driver. He took a photo of him and the cab driver and posted it on his Instagram account with this caption, “Something I wanted to share since my trip from Singapore because this is by far the most sensible conversation I had inside a cab.

“I forgot his name but we chatted for a good 20 mins and he told me, ‘I don’t understand why people have conflicts, when all religions teach love, respect, and care for each other. “When all nations want to give its people the best possible life they could offer.

When it feels so good to give love rather than hate.’ “He also said ‘Filipinos are great people, talented, accommodating, and very friendly… But some of the government officials are greedy and corrupt, which makes the Philippines the way it is now.’

“Totally AGREE with everything he said…By the way he has a lot of Filipino friends who love to sing. Have a blessed day everyone!” Sapul sa sapul ng driver ang political situation sa ating bansa. Well-read siya at alam ang mga kaganapan sa ating bansa.

Yes, some, if not most of our government officials are greedy and corrupt. They drive in Mercedes Benz and other flashy cars. They live in affluent enclaves. They studied in the best schools. They are cultured. What’s funny is that they end up as thieves in government.

We believe that the biggest thieves are not on the streets but in the august halls of government offices. They steal by the millions and sometimes by the billions!!!
