PORMAL nang itinalaga ni Pangulong Aquino si Justice Secretary Alfredo Benjamin Caguioa bilang bagong Supreme Court Associate Justice, kapalit ni dating Associate Justice Martin Villarama.
Kaklase ni Aquino si Caguioa sa elementary at kolehiyo sa Ateneo de Manila.
Kinumpirma ni Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) head Secretary Herminio “Sonny” Coloma ang pagkakatalaga kay Caguioa.
“Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa, Jr. has transmitted the appointment letter dated 22 January 2016 to Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno,” sabi ni Coloma.
