‘PBB’ inireklamo ng mga nanay, mga Bossing ng ABS pinatawag ng MTRCB
Nakatanggap na ng formal complaint ang Pinoy Big Brother 737 ng ABS-CBN mula sa MTRCB matapos ang sandamakmak na reklamong natanggap ng ahensiya mula sa mga manonood, na karamihan ay mga nanay.
Sa isang liham (dated June 29), inutusan ni MTRCB co-chairperson Ricardo Salomon, Jr. ang mga taong namamahala sa PBB na um-attend ng developmental conference tungkol sa “children’s rights and protection.”
Ito’y para raw masiguro na hindi mae-expose ang mga kabataang kasali sa nasabing reality show sa mga eksenang maaaring makasira sa kanilang kamalayan at personalidad bilang mga menor de edad.
Ayon pa sa MTRCB, “We are writing because of the numerous feedback and complaints we have been receiving in connection with your television program Pinoy Big Brother 737 aired over ABS-CBN Channel 2, as well as over Sky Premium Channel 85.
“In this connection, and further to our developmental mandate to ensure that the best interest of the children are given primary consideration, we would like to invite you to a developmental conference on 09 ]uly 2015, at 2:00 p.m., at the MTRCB Adjudication Room, MTRCB Building, No. 18, Timog Avenue, Quezon City.
“In the said conference, we would like to know what safety measures you have in place so as to guarantee that no participant in your program is exposed to situations, challenges and experiences which may be prejudicial to his or her well-being or which may have a negative impact on the youth and other audiences who will be watching your show.”
Wala mang partikular na episode na tinukoy ang MTRCB na sinasabing inireklamo ng viewers, ang ilan sa mga mainit na pinag-uusapan ng madlang pipol ay ang pagiging malapit sa isa’t isa ng teen housemates na sina Bailey May Thomas, 12, and Barbie Imperial, 16.
Ilang viewers ang nagkomento na ke bata-bata pa raw ng dalawa, e, nagkakagustuhan na. Suggestion nga ng ilang viewers dapat daw parusahan agad ang dalawang teen housemates.
Bukod diyan, mainit ding pinag-uusapan ang sinasabing “bromance” sa pagitan nina Bailey at Kenzo Gutierrez na nakitang nagho-holding hands, nagyayakapan at “naghahalikan” sa loob ng Bahay Ni Kuya.
