THE management of GMA News called the attention of Mel Tiangco for her blunder in last week’s episode of 24 Oras.
While interviewing Eric Quizon on air to get updates about the health of Comedy King Dolphy, biglang nawala yata sa kanyang wisyo itong si Mel and uttered, “Matibay pala ang matandang ‘yan” when Eric said na 10 pneumonia na ang nalagpasan ng kanyang ama last year.
Pinagsabihan daw si Mel ng GMA news executive to avoid making tactless statements on air na hindi magandang pakinggan.
Sabi naman ni Mel Tiangco, medyo nawala siya sa focus noong ini-interview niya si Eric.Napanood namin ang nasabing episode at maging kami ay nagulat na capable palang mag-comment ng ganoon si Mel.
We thought that veteran that she is in the broadcasting industry, she’s already mastered the art of her craft pero hindi pala.
With what she uttered ay naging insensitive si Mel.
Unang-una, mas matanda man sa kanya si tito Dolphy ay hindi rin naman masasabing she’s a spring chicken.
She may not be as old as the legendary comedian but there is no denying the fact that she’s also old.
Parang binastos nga niya si tito Dolphy nang bitawan niya ang mga salitang iyon.
It reeks of mockery.
‘Yan ang naging dating sa amin ng sinabi niya.
Hindi ba niya naisip na she was interviewing the son of the best comedian in the country?
Did it not occur to her na puwedeng magtampo sa kanya si Eric dahil sa kanyang binitiwang salita?
We think that she should, at the very least, apologize to Eric for her blunder.
Paano pa gaganahang magpainterbyu si Eric kung ganyang pupuwede pala siyang magpakawala ng mga salitang puwedeng makasakit ng damdamin.
