Regine sa mga epal na fans: Hindi ko naman kailangan ng suporta n’yo!
HINDI napigilan ng Asia’s Songbird na si Regine Velasquez ang kanyang emosyon laban sa isang follower niya sa Twitter na nagsabing “disappointed” daw ito sa misis ni Ogie Alcasid.
Ayon sa tweet ng isang nagke-claim na supporter ng Songbird, marami na siyang fans na tumalikod na sa kanya dahil hindi na raw masaya ang mga ito sa mga ipinapakita niyang performance sa kanyang mga show.
Meron ding nagsabi na nagtatampo ang mga ito dahil hindi man lang daw sila pinapansin ng Songbird kapag nagtu-tweet sila. Pero in fairness, marami pa rin namang nagtanggol kay Regine at nabwisit sa epal na follower niya.
Ito naman ang naging sagot ni Regine, “Hi thank you very much. But I don’t really care if I disappoint them mataas expectations nila sakin…so they will always feel that way.
I’m 45 and lot of them still think I’m 20? So it’s so hard to entertain those people. Who does not want to be entertain. “Anyway hindi ko naman kayo pinipilit na suportahan ako kung ayaw nyo na may magagawa ba ko? I have dedicated my whole life entertaining you guys.
I will forever be thankful for your support. “Pero yung mag tampo ekek kayo dahil gusto kung gamitin ang binigay ni Lord na talent to Glorify Him? Really??? Well thank you so much but I DONT NEED YOUR SUPPORT!!!
“I keep pushing my self to prove that I still have but now I realized what for non of you will be happy with…what I have to offer. I’m not the same I’m older, my voice…painful to admit but will never be the same.
“I don’t want to push my self anymore ginawa ko na yan buong buhay ko. So if you don’t want to support me it’s ok lang,” sabi pa ni Regine.
Para naman sa mga fans niya na sinasabing “umalis” na sa pagiging Reginian, “Ok lang kahit umalis like I said walang pilitan to so GO!!! Are you kidding me??? Ano akala nyo sakin roboT?”
“Again hindi ko po kailangan ng suporta nyo kung ang kapalit naman ay si God o ang mga mahal ko sa buhay. I love my job but I don’t love it too much to sacrifice my faith and my family. God Bless po goodnight.”
At bilang isang solid Reginian mula pa noong ipanganak ako, isang salita lang ang ibig sabihin ng Songbird sa napakahabang mensahe niya – RESPETO.
