Hollywood actress nag-request ng ‘budbod’ kay Iza
For the third time ay bumalik ng Pilipinas ang Hollywood actress and two-time Grammy awardee na si Tia Carrere. This time, she will shoot for an interntional movie titled “Showdown in Manila” na ididirek ng kapwa niya American actor na may dugong Pinoy na si Mark Dacascos.
Mga Pinoy ang mga magulang ni Tia but both born and raised sa Hawaii. Kaya naman for her third time here, ise-segue na rin niya ang pakikipag-bonding with her Pinoy relatives dito.
First time she visited the Manila ay noong 2003 para sa isang campaign for our Filipino war veterans. Special guest pa raw siya ni dating President GMA during that time.
Incidentally, the whole cast of “Showdown in Manila” headed by Russian actor Alexander Nevsky who is dubbed as Russia’s Arnold Schwarzenegger ay pupunta sa Coron, Palawan to shoot some scenes for the movie.
Agad nga raw hinanap niya as soon as she came here ay ang Pinoy delicacy na “budbud.”
“But nobody can find me any budbud. Does anybody know what budbud is? I’ve been looking for this. I asked Iza, she said it’s biko. I don’t know. Anyway, this is my third time here.
But I plan to come back more often because it’s been too long. It’s good to be here,” seyn ni Tia.
