Regine nilait nang sumablay sa pagbirit; ipinagtanggol ni Lea

That was Lea Salonga’s defense kay Regine Velasquez na sumamblay raw sa ending ng “I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing” na kinanta niya sa recent Valentine concert nila nina Gary Valenciano, Lani Misalucha and Martin Nievera.
Apparently, hindi yata naibirit ni Regine ang kanyang boses sa huling notes kaya naman na-disappoint ang ilang fans niya.
Hindi namin napanood ang concert kaya naman we can’t figure out kung true nga na hindi naibirit ni Regine ang last bar ng nasabing kanta.
Kung true nga, eh, kabawasan ba ‘yon kay Regine na binibigyan tayo ng hindi-matatawarang performance every time na may concert siya? In our book, Regine is one of the finest and best singers that this country has produced.
Wala na siyang dapat pang patunayan, ‘no. At tama si Aling Lea. One song does not make a concert. That’s a fact. Kaya sa bashers ni Regine, naku, mag-isip kayo, ‘no, that is, kung may isip nga kayo!!!
