40 siklista pasok sa championship round ng 2015 Ronda Pilipinas

UMABOT sa 40 siklista ang nakapasa sa idinaos na tatlong araw na Visayas elimination para makapaglaro sa Championship round ng 2015 Ronda Pilipinas na handog ng LBC.

Ang lumabas na overall champion na si Boots Ryan Cayubit ang nanguna sa mga umabante sa main event ng karera na gagawin mula Pebrero 22 hanggang 27 sa Paseo Greenfield City sa Sta. Rosa, Laguna hanggang sa Baguio City.

Makakasama ni Cayubit ng 7-Eleven ang kakampi at pumangalawa sa overall na si Marcelo Felipe, Rey Martin at mga bihasa na sa karera na sina Irish Valenzuela, Baler Ravina, Cris Joven, Leonel Dimaano, Junrey Navarra at Alvin Benosa.

Ang mga stage winners na sina Jaybop Pagnanawon at Mark Julius Bonzo ay kasali rin habang ang mga bagong pangalan na magtatangkang gumawa ng marka ay sina Kenneth Solis, Jhunvie Pagnanawon at Cesar Lapaza Jr.

Si Solis ang lumabas bilang kampeon sa U-23 habang si Pagnanawon ay kapatid ni Jaybop at anak ni 1986 Marlboro Tour champion Rolando Pagnanawon. Si Lapaza ay nakababatang kapatid ni Reimon Lapaza na siyang nagdedepensang kampeon sa karerang may basbas ng PhilCycling at may suporta ng MVP Sports Foundation, Petron at Mitsubishi.

“We’re very happy to see some new faces and young ones who made it to the Championship round. Having this said, we achieved our goal set in the Visayas qualifying that to discover new faces,” wika ni Ronda executive director Moe Chulani.

Lilipat ang elimination sa Luzon mula bukas hanggang Martes na gagawin sa Tarlac at Antipolo City.
