MMFF entry ni Vice kumita na ng P200-M

Mukhang hindi na nga matitibag sa pagiging number one ang 2014 MMFF entry ni Vice Ganda na “The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin”. Balitang naabot na nito ang P200-million mark sa pagsasara ng mga sinehan noong Linggo.

At dahil dito, panibagong record na naman ang naitala ni Vice sa history ng Philippine cinema at ng MMFF. Sa tweet ng TV host-comedian kahapon, kumita na ng mahigit P201 million ang pelikula nila nina Bimby, Alex Gonzaga at Richard Yap matapos ang apat na araw lang na pagpapalabas nito sa mga sinehan.

Naniniwala ang kampo ni Vice na kung magtuluy-tuloy ang paglaki ng kita ng “Praybeyt Benjamin” sa mga susunod pang araw, hindi malayong mabura na nito ang record ng MMF entry niya last year na “Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy,” na siyang itinuturing na highest-grossing Philippine film of all time (kumita ng P456 million last year).

Bukod dito, tuloy din sa paghataw sa takilya ang iba pang MMFF entries tulad ng “My Big Bossing” ni Vic Sotto; “Feng Shui” nina Kris Aquino at Coco Martin; at “Kubot: The Aswang Chronicles” ni Dingdong Dantes.

Inaasahan namang mas tataas ang kita ng “English Only Please” nina Derek Ramsay at Jennylyn Mercado; at “Bonifacio” ni Robin Padilla matapos  humakot ng awards.
