“Bakla” ba si Jose Rizal?
Coming from the success of the award-winning historical mini-series Katipunan, leading broadcast giant GMA Network is again set to launch another groundbreaking project with the premiere of the first-ever bayaniserye on primetime television – Ilustrado.
Sa Monday ito magsisimula a 20-episode primetime series that focuses primarily on the country’s national hero Jose Rizal from his childhood to his journey in Europe, his experiences in love and all his sacrifices for his country.
Portraying the most coveted and challenging role of Philippine national hero Jose Rizal is Kapuso homegrown artist Alden
Richards. Joining him in Ilustrado are Kapuso actress Kylie Padilla as Leonor Rivera, who was believed to be the first love of Rizal, and Solenn Heussaff as Nellie Boustead, the French woman Rizal almost married.
Now we go to Alden na ang latest chismis ay beki nga raw dahil hanggang ngayon ay wala pa rin daw siyang girlfriend. Na of course tinatawanan lang ng isa sa primetime prince ng GMA.
Matagal nang walang nali-link kay Alden, the last being that ordinary looking girl na perennial partner niya noon.
Wala rin tayong nababalitaang nililigawan ang binata. Alden of course just laugh at the rumor at sinigurong babae pa rin daw ang gusto niya.
Boy na boy ang pambato namin for the next big GMA matinee idol, `no? Baka talagang career lang ang priority ngayon ni Alden dahil at this point and starting Monday, dalawang primetime shows siya mapapanood, ang Ilustrado and Bet Ng Bayan.
