Goma walang kaarte-arte, di mukhang pera

Richard Gomez doesn’t mind playing supporting role sa mga top male stars.

Panahon pa rin ni Goma as this year, sa tatlong magkasunod na Star Cinema released movie from “She’s Dating The Gangster” to “The Janitor” and now “The Trial”, he is the lead support.

Mabuti na lang, pawang mga top male stars ang sinusuportahan niya. Sa “She’s Dating The Gangster”, he is cast with ABS’ Teen King Daniel Padilla. Sa “The Janitor na magbubukas this Wednesday, it’s GMA’s Drama King Dennis Trillo. At sa “The Trial” this Oct. 15, it’s the box-office king John Lloyd Cruz he is giving major support, so sulit.

We really admire Goma bilang isang actor. Kung tutuusin, he can command a lot pa every time he is requested to do a movie pero dahil foremost actor siya, balitang hindi na ito nagtatanong ng billing or even talent fee.

Isang short anecdote ni Mike Tuviera na director ng “The Janitor”, pinabasa lang niya ang script kay Goma and when the director called him, hindi na ito nagtanong how much kungdi kailan sila magsisimulang mag-shooting so very appreciative sa kaniya ang APT Entertainment.

Now part of the Chito Roño directed family drama from Star Cinema na “The Trial”, at least Goma gets the top billing this time kasunod nina Gretchen Barretto, Jessy Mendiola and Enrique Gil in that order with the top star of the movie John Lloyd Cruz getting the “and” part sa dulo.

Sa poster, top picture si John Lloyd at sinundan ng magkatabing mukha nina Richard and Gretchen so sulit pa rin ang participation niya.

Kaya nga sabi ni Richard, 2014 has been a very good year for him so far kasi baka may pumasok pang iba.
