Enrile pinayagan sa hospital arrest

PINAYAGAN ng Sandiganbayan Third Division si Sen. Juan Ponce Enrile na manatili sa ospital.
Ang desisyon ng korte ay bunsod ng mosyon ni Enrile noong Hulyo 4 na payagan siyang manatili sa Philippine National Police General Hospital.

Nakasaad sa desisyon na mananatili si Enrile sa ospital hanggang sa sabihin ng mga doktor na siya ay maaari nang ilipat sa kulungan sa ilalim ng Bureau of Jail Management and Penology o hanggang sa ipag-utos ng korte na ilipat ito.

“The Director or Officer-in-Charge of the PNP General Hospital is granted continuing authority to allow accused Enrile to access another medical facility outside Camp Crame only (1) in case of emergency or necessity and (2) if the medical procedure required to be administered on the said accused is not available at or cannot be provided for by the physicians of the PNP General Hospital, all at the personal expense of accused Enrile,” saad ng desisyon.

Si Enrile ay nahaharap sa kasong plunder at graft kaugnay ng pagtanggap umano ng kickback o komisyon mula sa mga non government organization ni Janet Lim Napoles kung saan napunta ang kanyang pork barrel fund.
