Anne kinabog sina Venus, Shamcey at Janine, mas mukhang fresh at yummy

Kapuri-puri ang pagho-host ni Anne Curtis sa katatapos lang na coronation night ng Binibining Pilipinas 2014. Kahit pa kasabay niya ang tatlong top winners sa Miss Universe na sina Shamcey Supsup, Venus Raj at Janine Togonon, kabog na kabog ang tatlo pagdating sa aura, freshness at galing sa hosting. Kung naging mas matangkad lang sana si Anne, eh, di beauty queen na beauty queen ang peg nito.

Lone male host naman si Xian Lim na in fairness ay nag-improve na. Wala na yung nakakairitang nuances niya at mannerisms na mukhang mas excited pa kesa sa mga kandidata. Ha-hahaha!

Anyway, tuwang-tuwa din kami dahil nakakuha ng two major titles ang mga produkto ng Daragang Magayon ng Albay na sina Yvethe Santiago at Mary Anne Guidotti na nanalong Bb. Pilipinas-Supranational Bb. Pilipinas-International respectively, na parehong napanalunan ng Pilipinas last year.

Hindi namin masyadong bet ang Bb. Pilipinas-Universe winner na si Mary Jean Lastimosa dahil siguro three times na namin siyang napapanood sa rampahan ng Binibini (puro runner-up ang naiuwi) kaya’t parang hindi na siya “fresh” sa amin.

Medyo naawa rin kami kay Pia Wurtzbach na nag-first runner-up na last year, pero sa paghahangad nga na makasungkit ng major title eh, umuwi lang na luhaan.

Marahil ay madadala na ang mga repeaters sa pageant unless keri nila ang kakaibang “spirit” ni Mary Jean na for sure ay mas kabado ngayon dahil beterana na siyang matatawag, kumbaga handang-handa na siya dapat sa Miss U (imagine more than three years kang naghanda!).
