Regine, Ogie ‘magkaaway’ sa Valentine’s day

Magtatapat ang Valentine shows nina Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez.  For the first time since they got married, magkakabanggaan ang mga Valentine shows ng Songwriter and Asia’s Songbird dahil nagkagulatan ang mag-asawa na mayroon din palang Valentine show si Regine.

Yes, it’s the other way around dahil mas nauna nang naplano ni Ogie ang kaniyang three night Valentine concert even before nasabi sa kaniya ni Regine na may Valentine show din siya with Martin Nievera.

Of course Ogie doesn’t mind dahil kakaiba rin ito. Ang nakatutuwa, si Regine puwedeng manood ng concert niya pero siya hindi. The singer and the songwriter would like to do something different this year dahil Ogie is out to prove that Valentine’s Day can also be for singles and there’s a multitude of single men and women out there so why not dedicate a Valentine show to them?

And so, “Samahang Walang Ka-Valentine” is proposed together with Maestro Ryan Cayabyab as Musical Director. Ang mga kakantahin ni Ogie, songs about breakup, forbidden love, isolation, the thrills and pitfalls of dating and finally moving on. Special guest is sexy singer, model-actress and single lady Solenn Heussaff.

“Samahang Walang Ka-Valentine” will go on stage at the Music Museum in Greenhills on Feb. 13, 14 and 15.  Tickets for the show are available at Ticket World or at the Music Museum at 7210635 or 7216726.

Say ni Regine, manonood daw siya nito on Feb. 13 pero si Ogie, hindi makakapanood ng show ni Regine dahil wala raw kakanta sa concert niya if he does that.
