Milo Little Olympics Nat’l Finals sa Cebu

HANDA na ang lahat para sa pagbubukas ng 2013 Milo Little Olympics National Finals ngayon sa Cebu City Sports Center.

Magtatagisan sa palarong ito ang mahigit 1,600 batang atleta na nanalo sa apat na qualifying legs na ginanap sa Mindanao, Visayas, Luzon at nagdedepensang kampeong National Capital Region.

Ang unang apat na pagtatanghal ng national finals ay nakopo ng Visayas ang kampeonato pero noong isang taon ay naagaw ng NCR ang karangalan.

Naniniwala naman si Milo Little Olympics Visayas organizer Ricky Ballesteros na mababawi ng Visayas region ang kampeonato sa taong ito.

Aniya, wala namang nasaktan sa mga atletang nasalanta ng bagyo at lindol sa Visayas.

“All the athletes have been accounted for even those in severely affected areas such as Bohol and the Western Visayan region. We are very relieved and grateful for their safety,” sabi ni Ballesteros.

Siniguro rin ng mga organizers ang seguridad at pangangalaga sa mga batang atletang kalahok sa finals.

Ang mga sports na paglalabanan sa elementary at high school division ay athletics, badminton, chess, football, gymnastics, lawn tennis, swimming, table tennis, taekwondo, volleyball, sipa (sepak takraw) at Scrabble.
