Myanmar national director pinatawan ng lifetime ban ng Miss Grand Int’l
NAG-ISSUE ng “lifetime ban” ang Miss Grand International Organization laban sa National Director ng Myanmar matapos ang naganap na iskandalo sa coronation night ng international pageant.
Tinanggap ni Miss Grand International President Nawat Itsaragrisil ang pagre-resign ni Miss Grand Myanmar Thae Su Nyein bilang 2nd runner-up sa naturang beauty contest.
Kasabay nga nito ang announcement ni Nawat na hindi na makakasali kahit kailan si Miss Grand Myanmar National Director Htoo Ant Lwin sa nasabing international pageant.
Sa presscon na naganap sa Movenpick Sukhumvit 63 sa Bangkok, sinabihan ni Nawat ang beauty queen na si Thae na gumawa na lang ng sarili niyang pageant para masigurong siya ang mananalo.

“What makes her so delusional? If she wants first place and must have it, I suggest she creates her own pageant so she can win every title,” matapang na sabi ni Nawat.
At dito nga nabanggit ni Nawat na magpapatupad na sila ng lifetime ban kay Lwin “due to lack of sportsmanship and business credibility.”

Bago ito, gumawa ng iskandalo si Htoo Ant Lwin sa coronation night ng naturang pageant kung saan pwersahan niyang tinanggal ang korona at sash ni Thae habang nasa stage.
Hindi kasi nito matanggap na talunan ang kanilang kandidata. Ang bet ng India na si Rachel Kupta ang itinanghal na Miss Grand International 2024 habang ang ating pambatong si CJ Opiaza ang First Runner-up.
Sa isang Facebook Live video, in-announce ni Thae na hindi ibinabalik niya sa organizers ng pageant ang napanalunang second runner-up award.
“I don’t want the second runner-up position. I came to win first place and believe I deserved a higher position,” ani Miss Grand Myanmar na naniniwalang mas deserving niyang mapanalunan ang Best National Costume, Popular Vote, at Country of the Year.
