James Reid sa pag-alis ni Liza: It’s her decision to leave
NAGSALITA na ang singer-actor na si James Reid, ang founder ng Careless Music tungkol sa pag-alis ni Liza Soberano sa kanilang pangangalaga.
Base sa kanyang naging panayam sa ABS-CBN News sa singer-actor ay inamin niya na discretion niya ang paglabas ng anunsyo na wala na si Liza sa kanilang management.
“We decided to make this statement because there’s a lot of rumors that she’s no longer Careless. So we decided to release the statement just to confirm it so there’s no confusion,” saad ni James.
Dagdag pa niya, “It’s her decision to leave Careless.”

Matatandaang matapos umalis sa pangangalaga ng Viva Artists Agency, sumubok siyang mag-manage ng iba pang artista.
“Actually, in all the contracts and agreements I have with my artists, there’s a termination for convenience, close, at any time. You can leave as long as I agree, and I agreed,” pagpapatuloy ni James.
Sa tanong naman na kung bakit umalis si Liza, sinabi ng binata na nag-focus ito sa kanyang career sa abroad.
“We have different, I guess, career paths. She’s more focused on her US career, going to Hollywood, all of that. And we’re more focused on the Philippines. Music, local,” sey ni James.
Inamin rin niya na talagang hands on si Liza sa kanyang career simula nang maging under ito ng Careless Music.
Sey ni James, “Actually, Liza’s been very proactive with her career ever since she joined Careless. She has a very clear idea of where she wants to go with her career and everything. And towards the end, basically, she manages herself.
“And, you know, now that she’s in the US, it makes sense that Careless is no longer in the picture, which I’m okay with.”
Sinabi rin ni James na lahat ng mga transaksyon ni Liza sa US ay sa kanya lang at walang kinalaman ang Careless dito.
“Well, I did help her a lot with the initial meetings with her co-management in the US, even with that first film. I introduced the director, but everything after that was really her,” lahad niya.
Sa ngayon ay wala na raw nagha-handle kay Liza ngunit ang alam niya ay may co-management ito na Transparent Arts sa US.
Inamin rin niya na maluwag ang kontratang pinirmahan ni Liza sa kanila.
“Actually, our agreement from the beginning was very loose. I didn’t make her famous. She was Liza Soberano already when she came on board, which is why I was so flexible,” sey ni James.
Matatandaang 2022 nang pumirma ng kontrata si Liza sa Careless Music.
