Siya ay 71 years old.

Mensahe ni Ces sa pagpanaw ng showbiz icon, “I join millions of Filipinos in mourning the passing of National Artist Nora Aunor.

“Ever since I was a little girl, I have always been a Noranian.

“It must have been when I was in grade one or two that I tearfully begged my mom to allow me to go the moviehouse to watch her latest movie with Tirso Cruz.

“She wouldn’t allow me at first because of the crowds.

“And when she eventually relented I remember the narrow street of the movie house near the Baguio flower market crowded with Noranians, crushing each other to get inside. It was an unforgettable experience,” pagbabahagi ni Ces.

“The adulation for a movie star has never been equalled. Eventually she grew into a dramatic actress with so much depth.

“In September 2012, thanks to Tito Boy’s (Abunda) ‘Ikaw Na segment’ on Bandila, I got my chance to have a photo with my idol.

Aniya, hindi niya makakalimutan ang naging interview niya noon kay Nora, “Am fortunate to have had the chance to interview the legend Nora Aunor years ago. Hers is a lifestory unmatched.

“As more recent years passed, even her publicized inner and physical pains and struggles failed to dim the glory of the original Superstar.

“Only the magnificence of her talents and body of work remain. One and only.
