WALANG kaabug-abog na inamin ni Piolo Pascual na isa siyang “Marcos baby” at marami rin siyang memories sa Malacañang habang lumalaki.
Paliwanag ng 7th The EDDYS Best Actor (para sa pelikulang Mallari), ipinanganak daw siya noong Martial Law kaya tinawag niya ang sarili na “Marcos baby.”
Sa interview ng ABS-CBN Europe Middle East Africa, natanong si Papa P, “So, Marcos baby ka?” na sinagot ng actor-singer-producer ng, “Yeah. I grew up in Malacañang, just outside.”

Paliwanag ni Piolo, “My mom was working for Malacañang back then, in one of the offices there, one of the departments.
“So that was my environment when I was growing up that’s where I grew up,” sey pa ng award-winning Kapamilya actor.

Samantala, nabanggit din ni Papa P na kasal na raw siya — sa kanyang career, “I’m happy where I am. At this point I never thought I’d stay single. But it is what it is.
“I don’t want to compromise my work by taking on another ‘thing’. I’m just really concentrated on what I’m doing. As much as I’m married to my job, I enjoy what I do and I don’t feel that there’s something lacking in my life,” pahayag pa ni Piolo.
