Andrea durog ang puso sa fur babies na pinabayaan, namatay sa bagyo

WASAK na wasak ang puso ni Andrea Brillantes para sa mga alagang hayop na iniwan at hinayaang mabaha sa kasagsagan ng pananalasa ng bagyong Carina.
Sa Instagram, ibinandera ng Kapamilya young actress ang ilang litrato ng kanyang fur babies, pati na rin ‘yung mga aso’t pusa na nalunod sa tubig baha habang nakakulong at namatay sa lamig.
May picture rin na makikita ang isang aso na wala ring malay at punong-puno ng makapal na putik.
Ang lahat na ‘yan ay dahil sa mga iresponsableng pet owners na tila panggigilan ni Andrea sa kanyang post.
Panimulang caption ng aktres, “Rain or shine, I can never leave my pets behind. They are more than just pets; they are companions, partners, and friends. They are family.”

“I am saddened by the fur babies whose lives were taken away by this typhoon due to irresponsibility. People caged them, tied them up, and abandoned them,” patuloy niya habang ipinapakita ang mga larawan na kuha ng Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) ng diumano’y mga namatay na aso sa San Juan City pound.
Ipinagdiinan din ni Andrea na dapat maging responsable ang pet owners, lalo na pagdating sa mga ganitong klaseng kalamidad.
“If you cannot take responsibility for the lives of your pets, then please don’t let them suffer like this,” pakiusap niya sa publiko.
Aniya pa, “My heart also goes out to everyone who was affected by the typhoon, both humans and pets. At the end of this slide, there are donation links where we can all help those who suffered from this typhoon.”

Magugunitang isa rin sa mga nagpakita ng malasakit at gumawa ng aksyon upang magbigay ng tulong sa mga pinabayaang aso at pusa ay ang fashion icon na si Heart Evangelista.
“What better way to reach out to as many abandoned pets as possible than through and with PAWS Philippines. They have always been part of the National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council, rescuing animals left behind in times of calamities,” saad ni Heart sa IG.
Bukod pa ‘yan sa kanyang relief efforts para sa mga residente o pamilya na naapektuhan ng baha at bagyo.
Nauna nang kinondena ng PAWS ang San Juan City pound dahil sa kapabayaan at hindi magandang pagmamaltrato sa pet animals na kanilang ikinulong.
