MUPH prod head sumagot sa isyung ‘hindi nagbayad’ sa trophy designer

NAGSALITA na ang production head ng Miss Universe Philippines na si Borg Roxas kaugnay sa isyung hindi binayaran ang designer ng trophies na si Jef Albea.
Magugunita nitong June 12, ibinandera ni Jef sa social media ang kanyang reklamo na tila tinakasan siya ng MUPH dahil hindi na siya binayaran sa mga tropeyo na kanyang ginawa para sa coronation night ng pageant na ginanap noong May 22.
Paglalarawan pa ng designer, nawala nalang na parang hangin ang organisasyon.
“They refused to pay me for the trophies I designed and crafted for the coronation night. All the effort, dedication and passion I put in creating these pieces, ended up ignored and disregarded when payment was due,” sey niya sa Facebook post.
Sinabi pa niya na hindi na niya kailangan at wala na siyang balak tanggapin kahit isang sentimo mula sa MUPH Organization.

Ang nais daw niya: “For them to learn that artists deserve respect. We pour our hearts and souls into our creations.”
“Our ideas don’t just appear from thin air just to work for an xdeal. They are the result of intense thought, deep emotions, and sleepless nights. Not to mention, opportunities missed, money and years spent honing our craft,” dagdag pa ni Jef.
Aniya pa, “PLEASE, DO NOT LET OUR WORK BE TAKEN FOR GRANTED.”
Sinagot naman ni Borg ang pag-call out ni Jef at ipinaliwanag na kulang sa documentation ang designer kaya na-delay ang pagbabayad.
“Lahat ng suppliers nagpapadala ng billing statement at invoice prior to May 22 para aligned na lahat. Nauuna nabayaran yung nagpapadala agad kasi may paperwork,” paglilinaw ni Borg sa isang Facebook post.
Dagdag niya, “Hindi sya nakasama sa May 30 cut off kasi walang papers. Kaya sa June 15 cut off sya nakasama kasi magkausap sila ng staff.”
Nilinaw rin ni Borg na patuloy na nakikipag-ugnayan ang production staff kay Jef kahit ‘nung araw na nag-post ito sa socmed.
“Pero kahit ganun man, wala naman TINATAKASAN,” giit pa ng head prod.
Iginiit niya rin na hindi ang MUPH Organization ang nagkamali sa nangyari at muling nilinaw na lahat naman daw ay mababayaran.
