Male talent nabiktima ng 2 pekeng direktor, pinaghubad sa audition
Theodore Boborol, Jun Robles Lana at Gabe Balita
MAY gumagamit ng pangalan ng dalawang kilalang direktor sa pelikula, sina Direk Jun Robles Lana at Theodore Boborol.
Ipinaskel ni Direk Theodore sa kanyang Facebook account ang screenshot ng palitan nila ng mensahe ng talent na si Gabe Balita na inalok daw itong mag-audition ng nasabing direktor.
At nang makahalata na siya na iba na ang ipinagagawa ay umatras na siya at saka nag-text sa direktor kung legit bang siya itong kapalitan niya ng messages.

Kuwento ni Gabe kay direk Theodore, “Basically nag-message siya sakin if G (go) raw ako for an acting project. Kayo raw and si Direk Jun Lana ang nagi-direct for film festival.
“Akala ko legit kasi Theodore Boborol ‘yung tg username. Then kay direk Jun @direkjun.

“Tumawag sakin si direk Jun then pina-open camera nu’ng una normal casting call lang. Then after pinahubad shirt kasi titingnan daw body type.
“Nag-remove naman ako ng shirt kasi tanda ko before I removed my shirt also for a legit casting call for screen testing.
“Then nasketchyhan na ako nu’ng pinapahubad na ang shorts, I was like no po, I’m not comfortable. Then nagsisigaw na siya then harassed me sa messages after,” sabi ng artist.

Saka ipinost ni Gabe ang palitan nila ng mensahe ni Direk Theodore na nagsabing hinihintay na siya ni Direk Jun at nang hindi siya pumayag maghubad ng shorts ay nagalit daw ang huli na pati si direk Boborol ay kinagalitan.
Nabanggit pa ng nagpakilalang Direk Theodore na big boss daw si Direk Jun at may share siya sa ABS-CBN.

At dahil dito ay nabahala ang tunay na Direk Theodore kaya’t nanawagan siya sa lahat na tulungan siyang maikalat itong post niya dahil baka may ibang mabiktima pa ang nagpapanggap na Direk Jun Lana.

“All the auditions of my past and current projects are always coursed through my producers. I do not organize the auditions.
“My Telegram ID (or Viber/Whatsapp ID) is not “theodoreboborol”. I also don’t have a profile photo in the said messaging app.”
Nabanggit pa ng direktor na wala siyang project na kasama ang IdeaFirst director at pangarap nga niya itong maka-work soon.
Patuloy ni Direk Theodore, “I also don’t have any current project with Direk Jun Lana. (Although that would be a dream!)
“I’m making these clarifications because my camper in Sparks Camp Season 1, Gabe Balita, had been a victim of a scammer using my name and Direk Jun Lana’s name.
“He was asked to audition for a sexy project via a video call, and was asked to strip naked for the role. Good thing Gabe got back to his senses and did not do the request.
“I’m horrified thinking others might have fallen victim to this evil perpetrator. I’m attaching below the screenshots of my chat with Gabe, and then the conversations between Gabe & the scammer so you are aware of their scam.
“Please share.
“ETA: As it turns out, the scammer is really into the campers of Sparks Camp. They also messaged Dan Galman. Tsk, tsk, tsk! Adding the screenshots below.”
Si Direk Theodore ay in-house direktor ng ABS-CBN at Star Cinema, samantalang si Direk Jun ay creative director at co-owner ng IdeaFirst Company kasama ang kapwa direktor na si Perci M. Intalan.
Ang mga pelikulang nagawa na ni direk Boborol ay ang Cinemalaya entry na “Iska” (2019); “Vince and Kath and James” (2016); “Finally Found Someone” (2017); “Just The Way You Are” (2015); at “Connected at Entitled” (2022). Marami rin siyang naidirek na serye.
Si Direk Jun ang creative director at isa sa may-ari ng IdeaFirst Company na nag-produce ng mga pelikulang “Becky and Badette”, “Die Beautiful”, “Barber’s Tale”, “About Us But Not About Us”, “Your Mother’s Son” at marami pang iba.
Ang pelikulang “And The Breadwinner Is” na pagbibidahan ni Vice Ganda ay entry ng Star Cinema at ABS-CBN na line produced ng IdeaFirst Company.
