Morissette ipinagtanggol ni Dave Lamar sa haters: Whatta trooper!

IPINAGTANGGOL ng singer-songwriter na si Dave Lamar ang asawang si Morissette Amon sa mga bashers at haters nito sa social media.
Nag-ugat ito nang mag-post sa Facebook ang isang nagpakilalang events director ng kanyang pagkadismaya sa naging performance ni Morissette sa isang private event recently.
Actually, pa-blind item ang ipinost nitong status sa FB pero naniniwala ang mga netizens na si Morissette ang kanyang tinutukoy dahil sa pagbanggit niya ng “phoenix” — Asia’s Phoenix ang titulong ginagamit sa pagpapakilala kay Morissette.
Sabi ng events director, “In one of the corporate events I directed recently, we had a guest singer perform four songs in the finale number. She is known for belting extremely difficult songs and her ability to ‘whistle’ à la Mariah Carey has been well documented. Because of this, she has been labelled as the ‘phoenix’.

“Naturally, we were expecting no less than a fiery performance from her. Sadly, her much-vaunted vocal power appeared to be missing that night. She seemed zapped of energy, acted uninterested, and sounded distant and cold. It was as if all enthusiasm escaped her the moment she stepped on stage.
“It was just disappointing given that performers of her stature and popularity demand a hefty price to appear in corporate events.

“At the very least, she could have faked enthusiasm to cheer the audience up and not act as if she wanted to get off the stage in haste. She was, at that moment, a complete waste of time and money.”
Nagsalita na si Morissette tungkol dito at sinabing may sakit siya nang mag-perform pero naniniwala siya na ibinigay pa rin niya ang lahat para sa nasabing event.
Ito rin ang sinabi ng asawa niyang si Dave sa isa nitong social media post kung saan ibinahagi pa niya ang video ng performance ni Morissette kung saan birit kung birit pa rin ito kahit may sakit.

“Man, I wish I sound this good when I’m sick. But then again, don’t we all? HAHA!
“But real talk, I took this clip of Mori during this event because I couldn’t believe she still sounded this good despite being sick this day. Whatta trooper!” ang sabi pa ni Dave.
Nag-comment ang isang netizen, “So this is the said event. You can’t really please everyone. Damned if you don’t and damned if you do. But still mori slayed as usual.”
Reply sa kanya ni Dave, “You really can’t. It’s just really sad how people will go out of their way to bring someone down without even knowing the other side of the situation.”
