KALAT na kalat na ang chikang kasali raw ang Kapuso actress na si Gabbi Garcia sa Miss Universe Philippines 2024 pageant.
Nagsimula ang balitang ito dahil sa isang TikTok video kung saan sumabak sa isang “Q&A” session si Gabbi.
Dito, tinanong siya ng isang netizen kung may chance bang sumali siya sa Miss Universe Philippines. “Yes!! Just waiting for the right time,” ang naging sagot ng dalaga.
Kasunod nito, may mga naglabasan na ngang chika sa socmed na lalaban daw si Gabbi ngayong taon sa nasabing national pageant. Ito’y matapos ding mapabalitang nag-withdraw sa beauty contest si Miss Kananga Natasha Jung.

Pati nga raw ang kahawig ni Gabbi na si Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Marquez Dee ay nag-text sa dalaga upang kumpirmahin ang pagsali niya sa pageant.
Sa panayam ng “24 Oras,” nilinaw ni Gabbi ang balita, “While they were presenting the Miss Universe (Philippines candidates) I was in Japan. So hindi talaga totoo siya.”

“Pero nakakatuwa and nakakakilig because they’re considering me but at the same time kasi that’s a lot of things to process hindi naman ganoon kadali sumali lang,” aniya pa.
Sa isang panayam noon kay Gabbi, natanong din siya kung may balak ba siyang mag-join sa mga beauty contest.

“I get that also a lot, but as of now, if it’s gonna happen, it’s gonna happen. If not, I’m also okay with it.
“Kasi hindi naman lahat, like realistic-wise, it’s not easy to join especially for me who has a lot of contracts.
“I’m tied with a lot of brands, with a management, with a network. So when it comes to papers, agreements and stuff, it’s kind of complicated.
“But if you’re just gonna ask me if I have the desire to join, of course, that’s my childhood dream. But we’ll still see,” sey ni Gabbi.
