Beyoncé gumawa ng kasaysayan, No. 1 sa ‘country music chart’ ng Billboard

MAY bagong milestone ang superstar singer na si Beyoncé!

Siya ang kauna-unahang Black woman na nanguna sa “country music chart” ng international music and entertainment magazine na Billboard.

Dahil ‘yan sa bago niyang single na pinamagatang “Texas Hold ‘Em” na nag-number one sa country airplay chart ngayong linggo.

Ni-release niya ang nasabing single noong February 11 kasabay ng isa pa niyang bagong kanta na “16 Carriages, na naging pang siyam naman sa parehong chart.

Ang mga bagong release ni Beyoncé ay inaasahang tampok din sa upcoming country-themed album niya na may titulong “act ii” na nakatakdang ilabas sa March 29.

Ang “act ii” ay ang follow-up offering ng kanyang 2022 album na “Renaissance” na tinawag ding bilang “Act I: Renaissance.”

Ang upcoming album ng legendary singer ay inanunsyo niya matapos umere ang pinagbidahang Verizon commercial sa naganap na Super Bowl nitong Pebrero.

Ayon sa Billboard, si Beyoncé rin ang kauna-unahang babae na nakakuha ng top spot sa “Hot Country Songs” and “Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs” charts mula pa noong 1958.

Ang iba pang international artists na nanguna sa mga nabanggit na kategorya ay sina Justin Bieber, Billy Ray Cyrus at Ray Charles.
