“Our mistake! In the rush to get our posts up during Saturday’s live broadcast, we accidentally mixed up the names of two finalists.

“This was a simple error of moving too fast – we heard the same results live at the same time that you all did, no special access over here! We’re sorry to both finalists,” lahad ng Miss Universe El Salvador.

“This is not a mistake. The names ‘Philippines’ and ‘Thailand’ cannot be mistaken for one and the other; even the photos of the candidates cannot be interchanged as a ‘mistake’. Please don’t make another mistake by perpetuating a lie that is so blatant,” komento ng isang netizen sa IG post ng Miss Universe El Salvador.

Saad naman ng isa, “It’s not that easy to move on, especially if our representative performed well in the competition, and we knew for a fact that she deserved to be in the Top 5. You know what hurts? Our country sent someone who poured a lot of sweat and blood but yet was underrated.”

“Awit sa inyo El Salvador. Cooking show at its finest,” sey naman ng isa.
