Michelle Dee ‘hinamon’ ang bashers at walang bilib sa kanya: ‘Let’s have a showdown na lang’

‘Yan ang naging sagot ni Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee matapos mabasa ang ilan sa mga pinakamaaanghang na komento patungkol sa kanyang pagkapanalo sa MUPH pageant.
Sa latest YouTube video na ibinandera ng Empire Philippines, mapapanood na isa-isang binasa ni Michelle ang ilang hate comments mula sa bashers.
Pero imbes na magalit o mainis, kalmado itong sinagot ng beauty queen na tila hindi siya tinatamaan sa mga sinasabi ng mga ito.
Isa sa mga nabasa ni Michelle ay ang, “What’s the context of the ridicule that surrounds Michelle Dee, the winner of Miss Universe Philippines 2023? Every time I see her posted, it gets laugh reacts. The design is very cooking show.”
Bago pa man sagutin ‘yan ng beauty queen, sinabi na agad ni Michelle na maaga niyang natutunan kung paano i-handle ang hate comments at bashers.
Ito raw ay dahil maaga siyang namulat sa showbiz, lalo na’t ang kanyang ina na si Melanie Marquez ay isa ring aktres, modelo, at beauty queen.

Nabanggit din ni Michelle na hindi talaga mawawala ang mga negatibong reaksyon, lalo na’t nakuha niya ang titulo ng MUPH.
“I’m probably the most unbothered queen. I’ve been in showbiz and the industry for a very long time,” panimula niya.
Patuloy ng beauty queen, “I grew up around it, so I definitely assumed or anticipated that if ever I win the crown — and I did — I really expected a lot of negative reactions.”
“I was up against a lot of very deserving women also, so that came with their supporters as well,” sey pa niya.
Ipinunto rin ni Michelle na hindi talaga mawawala sa bawat kompetisyon ang mga komentong “luto” sa tuwing mayroong nananalo.
“I don’t really like giving these kinds of bashers airtime because they’re so unworthy of my time,” sambit niya.
Saad pa niya, “I think it’s a waste of energy to even think about people that say stuff like this because first and foremost, I’d love to see them onstage. I’d love to see them perform.”
“I mean, if you want to criticize me, then let’s have a showdown na lang,” paghahamon niya sa bashers.
Dagdag pa niya, “No matter what happens, no matter what you say, you can’t take the crown away from me.”
Napa-react din si Michelle sa isang hater na nagsabing matatalo ang Pilipinas sa upcoming international beauty pageant ng Miss Universe.
Sagot ng ating pambato, “You have the right to your opinion pero grabe, inuunahan mo na. Unplaced na kaagad? I’m pretty sure kaya nating ilaban ‘yan.”
At speaking of upcoming competition, malapit-lapit na ang inaabangang laban para sa bagong Miss Universe.
Magaganap ang international pageant sa November 18 sa bansang El Salvador.

Nauna nang nagwagi sa nasabing titulo ay sina Gloria Diaz (1969), Margarita Moran (1973), Pia Wurtzbach (2015), at Catriona Gray (2018).
Ang reigning titleholder ng Miss Universe ay ang Filipina-American beauty queen na si R’Bonney Gabriel na lumaban para sa USA.
