Michelle Dee na-pressure umaming bisexual dahil sa pang-uurot ng bashers?

HINDI na masyadong affected si 2023 Miss Universe Philippines Michelle Dee sa mga kanegahan at patuloy na pamba-bash sa kanya ng mga netizens.
Maraming natanggap na pang-ookray at panlalait ang Kapuso actress at beauty queen matapos siyang mag-come out as bisexual.
Ibinandera ni Michelle sa panayam niya sa isang magazine ang tunay niyang sexual preference. Aniya, “I definitely identify myself as bisexual. I’ve identified with that for as long as I can remember. I’m attracted to all forms of beauty, all shapes and sizes.”
Sa interview naman sa anak ng aktres na si Melanie Marquez at direktor na si Derek Dee, sa episode ng podcast show na CONVOS @ Home, muli siyang nagbahagi ng kanyang saloobin tungkol sa pag-amin niya sa publiko na isa rin siyang member ng LGBTQIA+ community.
“Well actually, it’s always been an open secret. I never believe that somebody from the LGBTQIA+ community needs to come out.

“So, I guess the reason why I chose to come out… was because after winning, I actually became like, and I say this without being negative or affected, the most bashed queen. So, coming out, well that’s expected. Because when you win, the supporters will actually support their bets.
“So you expect that, especially me, I was an artista before entering pageantry, so I already knew how to handle these negativities.
“I’ve such amazing parents, making me confident with myself and what I have to offer. But of course, there were some things that came out online about my past. And these aren’t like scandalous things actually,” pahayag pa niya.

Kaya naman nang maglabasan ang mga kuwento tungkol sa kanyang past, nagdesisyon siyang ilantad na sa buong universe ang kanyang pagkatao. Inamin nga niya ito sa isang magazine interview.
“I want it to change the narrative. I wanted to take control over my story, and that’s the most important thing that when somebody tries to take that away from you, take your timeline away from you, then you can always take it back.
And empower yourself while you are at it. So, thanks to all of the negative bashers,” sabi pa niya.

Pero nilinaw niyang hindi siya umamin nang dahil sa bashers, “I just felt like it was the right time. Because like I said, it was an open secret. I didn’t feel pressured too.
“But I just felt like it was such an amazing time to empower the people that might need an extra boost.
“I mean, throughout my reign, my main goal was to just empower, and inspire as many people as I can…that was my objective with coming out.
“Because again, I don’t think it’s something to be ashamed of,” adding that people around her including family, friends, and her management knew about this side of her.
“So, you know it was just about time to tell the universe, I guess. And just share parts of me that I never really felt confident sharing before. I’m really being authentic,” pahayag pa ni Michelle.
