Jay R aminadong inspirasyon, iniidolo si Kyla: She really elevates me in so many ways…

KAHIT matagal-tagal na mula nang magkasama, tila ramdam pa rin ang kilig sa R&B tandem na sina Kyla at Jay R.
Kamakailan lang, nagkaroon ng press conference si Jay R para sa upcoming reunion concert nila ni Kyla at dito naitanong ng BANDERA ang tungkol sa kanilang chemistry.
Para kay Jay R, isang inspirasyon ang Queen of R&B pagdating sa paggawa niya ng musika at bilang isang singer.
“Si Kyla, she definitely brings out a next level for me to achieve,” sagot ni Jay R sa amin.
Paliwanag niya, “Kasi as a singer, ‘yung range niya is so high. Her kulot is different.”
“When we first starting out, siyempre we have our own little kulots here, adlibs there. But for me, at that time, I was trying to do something different na jazzy na kulots… But then Kyla, she took the jazz kulots in a different level. When I saw that, parang ‘wow, she’s way ahead of me’,” kwento ng King of R&B.
Patuloy niya, “For me, it really pushes me to study other music and you know, trying to be like her.”
“And you know, she also inspires me to become a better producer kasi siyempre ‘nung araw niya ang gaganda ng mga kanta so I have to be up the bar with the sound of that… So parang she really elevates me in so many ways,” dagdag pa niya.

Bukod diyan, nabanggit din ni Jay R na marami siyang natutunan sa kanyang ka-tandem.
Isa na raw riyan ay ang pagkakaroon ng respeto pagdating sa kanyang mga katrabaho.
“One lesson that I really learned is I have to respect my co-workers when it comes to anything – in social media, in the media and in public,” sey niya.
Aniya pa, “You know, when it comes to talking about others aside from myself na dapat it has to be very in general and not really not too deep, not really giving away too much, especially when the person is not there. So definitely, she showed me to really respect your co-workers talaga.”
Noong nakaraang buwan ay nagkaroon din ng press conference si Kyla para sa nasabing concert at sa pamamagitan ng recorded video ay nauna nang ibinunyag ni Jay R na iniidolo niya ang ka-tandem.
“I’m excited to be a part of this concert because number one, I am a fan of Kyla. She is amazing. I learn from her, I grow from her. That’s the reason why I like working with her,” sambit ng singer.
Ani pa niya, “Everytime I work with her, meron akong natututunan. Ang galing galing niya as a singer, performer, and as a person even.”
