Sabi ni Bela, “Fun fact that JC Santos will probably kill me for, we were always around each other when we were hurting in real life.
“We always had a movie, an episode, and a music video to shoot. When he went through a breakup, we were taping a breakup scene for MMK, he didn’t want to cry. I got mad.
“When I realized I had to move on, we were again taping for MMK in Hong Kong and we were eating Pad Thai forced down by a bottle of white wine each just before he flew back to Manila,” pag-amin niya sa kanyang IG post.
Dugtong pa ng aktres, “When I went through the biggest pain I’ve felt in my life, we were filming On Vodka, Beers and Regrets and he watched me cry in our scenes knowing fully that I wasn’t crying for my character anymore but for myself.
“He just looked at me with understanding. No words. I’m tearing up as I type this because I realize now why we work. We know pain. We know our pain and we know yours.
“Kaya kami mapanakit, kasi nakikita niyo ‘yung sarili niyo samin. And at the end of the day, whether this is our last film or the 6th of a hundred films… we both know that we will always be around for each other and for you guys,” lahad pa ng actress-director at screenwriter.
“I feel like we’re both maturing. We’ve been working for six years now so we were not the same people we were in 2017.
“Kung dati, mababaw lang yung iniiyakan namin noong 2017, ngayon parang ang dami na naming life experiences that we pull from and since we know each other nga, more or less, alam namin yung pinagdadaanan.
“But also not just like the pains, also victories like we have little achievements. Like for JC and his daughter, I see how proud he is when he talks about River kapag nasa set kami. It’s very endearing to see how we’re both evolving as people so definitely, we’re still learning about each other,” chika pa ni Bela.
Samantala, maraming naalalang memories ang aktres nang makita ang publicity photos nila ni JC para sa “Wish You Were The One”.
“Naalala ko ‘yung day ng shoot mismo na may pinagdadaanan din ako that day, pero ang gandang lumabas ng photos. Hindi mahahalata na si JC, may pinanggalingan. Ako, may pinanggalingan.
Parang we know when it’s work. We know when we can talk about our personal lives so napa-look back ako in the last six years.
