After seeing the videos, a lot of netizens lauded Awra’s act of defending her friend. Ang daming nakisimpatya kay Awra.
“It takes an incredible amount of courage to confront harassers, especially when standing up for friends who have been targeted. Awra’s actions were driven by a genuine desire to protect his friends and uphold what is right.”

She’s a real kween for this.”
“Awra defending her friends from getting harassed. She’s a queen! Males who can’t keep their hands inside their pockets should die & burn in hell.”
“Let us not forget that Awra’s initial motivation was rooted in a desire to protect her friends, to stand up against harassment, and this should serve as a way to challenge the status quo. Blame the harassers, not the victims!”
“Instead of directing blame and utilizing what happened to spread hate towards Awra, let us focus our efforts on creating a society where harassment is eradicated and where individuals feel safe to speak up.”
