ILANG araw bago koronahan ang bagong Miss Universe Philippines, ibinandera ng reigning queen na si Celeste Cortesi ang ilang stunning snaps ng kanyang bagong short hair.
Kalakip niyan ang kanyang pag-alala sa naging journey bilang beauty queen.
Sey niya sa caption, “We are a few days away from crowning the next Miss Universe Philippines. I can’t help but to reminisce the entire journey that contributed to who I am today.”
Lubos din ang kanyang pasasalamat dahil nagawa niyang ipresenta ang Pilipinas sa international stage noong nakaraang taon.
“From all the struggles and hardships to the overwhelming support of everyone which I am very thankful for, and of course the once in a lifetime opportunity to represent the Philippines in an international stage,” saad niya sa isang Instagram post.
Mababasa rin sa nasabing post na nagawa niyang ikumpara ang kanyang Miss Universe Philippines journey sa isang paru-paro.
Lahad niya sa post, “I have always seen my journey as a beauty queen similar to the transformation of a butterfly.”

“Like the butterfly’s metamorphosis, this entire experience has led me towards self-discovery and empowerment,” dagdag niya.
Ayon pa sa kanya, ready na siyang mag-move on sa panibagong mga karanasan at journey na tatahakin.
Ani ni Celeste, “This butterfly is ready to spread her wings and to take flight to greater heights [butterfly emoji].”

Nagpaabot naman ng suporta ang ilang kapwa-beauty queens at kabilang na riyan sina Kathleen Paton, Michelle Dee, Gazini Ganados, Katrina Llegado at Samantha Bernardo.
Sa May 13 na malalaman kung sino ang mag-uuwi ng bagong Miss Universe Philippines title na magaganap sa Mall of Asia Arena.
