Mga manggagawa may ‘libreng sakay’ sa LRT-2, MRT-3 ngayong May 1

KASABAY ng pagdiriwang ng Labor Day ngayong May 1, magkakaroon ng libreng sakay ang mga manggagawa sa Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT-2) at Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3).
Ngunit paglilinaw ng Department of Transportation (DOTr) na pili lamang ang mga oras upang makuha ang free rides.
Kailangan ding magpakita ng valid ID upang ma-avail ito.
“All you need to present is your Company ID or Government-issued ID. We welcome workers aged 18 years old and above to enjoy this special treat,” sey ni Assistant Secretary for Railways Jorjette Aquino sa isang pahayag.
Narito ang listahan ng mga oras na may libreng-sakay:

7:00 am to 9:00 am, 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm
MRT-3

7:00 am to 9:00 am, 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Ayon pa sa DOTR, ito ay bilang pasasalamat sa lahat ng manggagawa na patuloy na nagsusumikap at nagbibigay kontribusyon sa bansa.

Patuloy pa niya, “We thank you for your continued efforts and contributions to our nation.”
“Let us celebrate Labor Day with pride and gratitude for all workers in the Philippines,” aniya.
Ang libreng-sakay ay mula sa kahilingan ng Transportation chief na si Jaime Bautista na gustong magbigay-pugay sa mga manggagawang Pilipino.
“This gesture will not only ease the financial burden of the workers but will importantly recognize their significant contributions to nation building and national development,” saad ni Bautista.
