Sa kanyang post, ibinahagi rin niya ang ilang quotes na may kaugnayan sa Easter Sunday tulad na lang ng sinabi ng author at journalist na si Janine di Giovanni. Anito, “Easter is meant to be a symbol of hope, renewal, and new life.”
Sabi naman ng Mental Health Fitness manager na si Siobhan, “The Easter egg symbolizes our ability to break out of the hardened, protective shell we’ve surrounded ourselves with.”
Isa si Maxene sa mga local celebrities na patuloy na nakikipaglaban sa kanilang mental health problems kaya naman palagi siyang nagbabahagi sa social media ng sariling karanasan para makatulong at maging inspirasyon sa ibang tao.
Sa isa niyang Instagram post, ipinangako niya sa sarili, “to live with more intention and purpose.”
“When I asked myself what my intentions are and why I do what I do, these are the words that my heart and soul chose: Growth. Gratitude. Grace,” aniya pa.
Taong 2021 nang aminin ni Maxene na na-diagnose siya ng Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder na sinundan ng paghihiwalay nila ng kanyang asawang si Rob Mananquil last year.
