“I’m looking forward to going pound for pound with sila Richard (Gutierrez), Jake (Cuenca). Looking forward ako na makipagbakbakan with the leads, everyone, even with Dimples Romana. She’s such a great actress,” dagdag pa niya.
How is he preparing for the action scenes? “For the action scenes, I’ve been working out. As you can see naman, everybody here is fit.
“I think protocol ‘yan sa pagiging artista ngayon. Everyone should be mentally and physically fit. So, yeah, I think everyone is prepared,” say niya.
Nagustuhan ni Baron ang bonding moments in between takes with his “The Iron Heart” co-actors not because he got the opportunity to get to know them better but because he’s learned a thing or two from it.
“We got to bond. Para siyang actor circle. Kami ni Jake (Cuenca), si tito Albert (Martinez) and everyone. We were talking about acting, the books that we read. It’s such a good experience to bond in between takes wherein I got to learn from my co-actors not just about acting but life as well,” say niya.
Sobrang na-enjoy ni Baron ang taping nila sa Cebu and called it an “interesting experience”.
For him, para na rin siyang Cebuano dahil doon sila naka-base ng kanyang dyowa. Actually, since he’s come to embrace the place as his “hometown”, the actor relishes the fact that the location is just “six minutes away”.
“I love Cebu and I’m happy that all the actors are here and are embracing Cebu as well. They’re also embraced by the Cebuanos,” he said.
“The Iron Heart” airs at 8:45 p.m. sa iba’t ibang platforms ng ABS-CBN.
