Sam Milby tumatanaw ng utang na loob kay Toni Gonzaga; walang planong layasan ang ABS-CBN

TUMATANAW ng utang na loob si Sam Milby kay Toni Gonzaga-Soriano dahil ang aktres at TV host ang unang naka-loveteam niya paglabas ng “Pinoy Big Brother.”
Hindi naman itinanggi noon nina Sam at Toni na naging super close sila pero hindi umabot sa seryosong relasyon dahil binawalan ang wifey ni Direk Paul Soriano ng kanyang magulang. Pero hindi naman nasira ang friendship ng dalawa.
Kaya naman natanong ang singer-actor sa mediacon ng “The Diary of Mrs. Winters” kung inalok ba siyang mag-guest sa birthday concert ni Toni na ginanap sa Araneta Coliseum noong Enero 20.
“I was not invited and I didn’t know because I came from Australia, I stayed there for three weeks and kung nakikita ninyo hindi ako masyadong active sa social media, so, I’m not aware sa nangyayari sa showbiz.
“Kapag may nagsasabi sa akin that’s where I find out, and yeah I think I found out the day before the concert,” pahayag ng binata.
Hindi naman makapagsalita si Sam sa sinabing balitang bino-boykot ng Kapamilya stars ang programang “Toni’ na napapanood sa ALLTV.

“It’s such a hard situation and it’s something hard to answer and I don’t want to comment. Toni was my first love team, of course, and I’ll always love the works we’ve done,” saad ng aktor.
Maituturing na kaibigan ni Sam si Toni kahit matagal na silang hindi nagkausap kaya ayaw niyang magsalita tungkol sa sa paglipat nito ng TV network.
At si Sam ay walang planong iwan ang Kapamilya network, “ABS gave me my career and it was like nu’ng nag-audition ako sa PBB, it was direk Lauren (Dyogi) who choose me in that emergency audition that I did. And if not for ABS, I won’t be here.”
Masaya raw si Samuel Lloyd sa nangyayari sa showbiz career niya dahil maraming ibinibigay na blessings sa kanya.
Sa tanong kung okay sa kanyang mag-guest sa programa ni Toni, hindi kaagad nakasagot si Sam dahil, “It’s such a sensitive… obviously sensitive topic.”
Puwede raw mag-guest si Sam sa “Toni Talks” vlog ng aktres pero hindi raw sa programa nito sa ALLTV dahil exclusive contract siya sa Kapamilya network.
Anyway, first time gumawa ng horror-drama si Sam at aminadong takot siya pero gusto niyang ma-overcome ang fear niya kaya tinanggap niya ang pelikulang “The Diary of Mrs. Winters”. Naiiba ang karakter na gagampanan niya rito kumpara sa nakasanayang good boy lagi.
Naalala pa niya na noong 11 years old siya pagkatapos niyang manood ng horror film ay ayaw na raw niyang pumuntang mag-isa sa rest room.
Samantala, bukod kina Judy Ann at Sam na nagbabalik tambalan pagkatapos ng isang dekada ay comeback movie rin ni Direk Rahyan Carlos ang “The Diary of Mrs. Winters” na isinulat nilang dalawa ng National Artist for Film at Broadcast na si Ricky Lee.
Ito’y mula sa AMP Studios Canada at Happy Karga Films at sa Toronto, Canada kukunan ang halos kabuuan ng pelikula.
Ayon kay direk Rahyan, “When I first started HappyKarga Films with my business partner, Joy Tarce, we knew that we would bank on talents and collaboration both from other film outfits and from the artists.
“And we couldn’t be more grateful to have found a likeminded individual such as Rechelle Everden of AMP Studios Canada who also believes in the cutting-edge Filipino talent in terms of bringing stories into the big screen,” aniya pa.
Ang “The Diary of Mrs. Winters” ay tungkol sa isang Pinay bio-forensic assistant cleaner sa Canada na si Charity at gagampanan ni Judy Ann, na sinumpa matapos itago ang diary ng isang matandang babae na nag-commit ng suicide. Maraming kamalasaan ang nangyari sa kanya kabilang ang pagkamatay ng mga mahal sa buhay at ipaglalaban ang kanyang true love, na si Victor na gagampanan ni Sam.
“To say that this is a dream project is an understatement. Not only because of the fact that I will be reuniting with Ricky Lee as this is our second collaboration, but also because we will be joined by Judy Ann and Sam.
“We are looking forward to work with both of them as we know that they are artists of world-class caliber. This is also the first full-length Filipino film to be shot amidst the panoramic Ontario, Canada” say ni Direk Rahyan.
Ang “The Diary of Mrs Winters” ay ipalalabas sa 3rd quarter ng 2023 dito sa Pilipinas at abroad.
