New York-based pop-up store naglunsad ng charity event sa Maynila, libo-libong residente may libreng ‘street foods’
‘Yan ay matapos magasagawa ng charity event ang isang New York-based pop-up store na “So Sarap NYC.”
“Thousands of people benefited, but with the help of barangay 402 tanods we managed to control and organize the lines so it won’t be chaotic…The vendors who we hired benefited from us as well,” sey ni VJ sa amin.
Sabi ni VJ, “Sampaloc is where my family grew up and all of the street food vendors surrounding us is where I came up with the concept of ‘SoSarap’.”
“I remember when my Lolo would treat us, all of his grandchildren, one cone of sorbetes each. We would just sit outside the house eating ice cream as it melts in between our fingers and enjoy the laugh of everyone,” dagdag niya.
Aniya, “My childhood pretty much inspired me to bring this concept in America.”
