KASALUKUYANG nasa New Orleans sa Amerika si Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray at mukhang super ready na siya sa kanyang magiging papel sa coronation day ng 71st edition ng Miss Universe pageant.

Sa Instagram post ng TV host-beauty queen, ibinandera niya ang ilang litrato niya habang nasa airport.

Ayon pa sa kanya, excited na siya para sa inaabangang kompetisyon.

“30hours later….Touchdown New Orleans!! (airplane emoji) So excited for the #71stMissUniverse ! I gotta catch up on the preliminary show! Who were your standouts?? (eyes emoji),” caption ng beauty queen.

Kamakailan lang ay inanunsyo ng Miss Universe organization sa pamamagitan ng social media post na isa si Queen Cat sa mga magiging backstage commentator ng kompetisyon.

“So excited to be a part of this line up,” saad ni Catriona.

Ito ang kauna-unahang pagkakataon na magiging parte ang dalaga ng naturang beauty pageant kung saan siya nanalo noong 2018.

Ilan sa makakasama ni Catriona bilang backstage commentator ay ang Emmy award-winner na si Zuri Hall.

Ang mga magiging main hosts naman ng prestigious beauty pageant ay sina Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo at ang TV host na si Jeannie Mai Jenkins.

Matatandaan noong nakaraang buwan ay inanunsyo ng organisasyon na puro babae na ang magiging host sa pageant at papalitan na ang American television personality at comedian na si Steve Harvey matapos ang limang taon.

Sa isang exclusive interview ng American media company na Variety, sinabi ni Miss Universe Organization CEO Amy Emmerich na marami ang nagbago sa organisasyon mula nang ipagbili ang Miss Universe organization.

“Among the changes in the move: Steve Harvey, who had hosted for five years as part of the pageant’s deal with Fox, also won’t be back,” saad niya sa inilabas na Variety article.

Matatandaang si Steve ay naging kontrobersyal matapos magkamali sa announcement of winners noong 2015.

Si Ms. Colombia ang sinabi niyang panalo, pero ang totoong nagwagi ay ang ating pambato na si Pia Wurtzbach.

Bukod diyan, ang streaming ng pageant ay mapapanood na sa free TV na Roku Channel imbes sa Fox.

Noong Oktubre ay nagkaroon na ng bagong owner ang Miss Universe Organization at ito ang media and content conglomerate from Thailand na JKN Global Group sa pamumuno ni Anne Jakapong Jakrajutatip.

Mangyayari ang 71st Miss Universe pageant sa New Orleans, Louisiana sa Amerika, kung saan nakatakdang lumaban ang ating pambato na si Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Celeste Cortesi.
