Pinay teen nilait-lait dahil sa kanyang first ‘luxury bag’: An 80$ bag may not be a luxury but for me and my family it is a lot
SA kabila ng kaliwa’t kanang “hate” messages na natanggap ng Singapore-based Pinay teen na si Zoe Gabriel ay nananatili itong grateful at masaya.
Nag-trending ang dalaga kamakailan matapos mag-viral ang kanyang TikTok video kung saan ibinandera niya ang Charles & Keith tote bag niya na binili pa ng kanyang ama bilang “first luxury bag”.
“Thank you dad,” maikling caption ni Zoe sa kanyang post.
Umani naman ng iba’t ibang reaksyon ang kanyang TikTok video at may ilang mga netizens ang kinutya ang dalaga dahil sa pagsasabing “luxury item” ang naturang bag.
Emosyonal namang sinagot ni Zoe ang naturang mga komento sa pamamagitan ng isang video at sinabing mahalaga sa kanya ang naturang bag at hindi naman sila nagmula sa marangyang pamilya.
“Your comment spoke volumes on how ignorant you seem because of your wealth. To you, an 80$ bag may not be a luxury but for me and my family it is a lot,” pagbabahagi ng dalaga.

Dagdag pa niya, “I’m so grateful that my dad was able to get me one. He worked so hard for that money. I can’t believe I got hate over a bag that I was so excited to have.”
Nag-reach out naman kay Zoe ang naturang brand at in-invite ito kasama ang ama sa isang lunch kasama ang founders ng brand at para na rin mag-tour sa kanilang headquarters.
“Our heart really went out to Zoe when we saw the videos and comments – there is no place for bullying, be it online or offline – but we were so impressed with the grace and humility in how she handled the situation, displaying wisdom far beyond her years and values that resonated with us greatly,” saad ng spokesperson ng Charles & Keith.
Dagdag pa nito, “Her parents deserve much credit and must be proud to have raised such a grounded, resilient young woman.”
Naglabas rin ng video si Zoe kung saan nagpaabot siya ng pasasalamat sa lahat ng mga taong sumuporta sa kanya at nagbigay paalala na rin sa iba pang netizens.
“Everyone’s life experiences and financial circumstances will be different from yours. Remember that what is cheap for you may be everything to another,” sey ng dalaga.
