Bagong Miss Universe crown tatawaging ‘Force for Good’, nagkakahalaga ng $6-M

IBINANDERA na ng Miss Universe Organization ang itsura at presyo ng bagong korona na ipuputong sa reynang magwawagi sa ika-71 edisyon ng pinakaaabangang international pageant.
Ayon sa bagong may-ari ng Miss Universe franchise na si Anne Jakkaphong Jakrajutatip, na siya ring CEO ng JKN Global, ang tawag sa latest crown ng pageant ay “Force for Good.” Ito ay gawa ng Mouawad.
Ayon sa Miss Universe Organization, the crown has “110 carats of blue sapphires and 48 carats of white diamonds.” Nagkakahalaga ito ng humigit-kumulang $6 million.

Sa isang video na ipinost sa Miss Universe social media accounts, inilarawan dito ang design ng bagong korona, “Gems are set in wave motifs that reflect the needs for any call for change that may be repeated across time and to various audiences in order to build the momentum for this change to emerge.”
Sabi ni Anne Jakkaphong Jakrajutatip sa isang panayam, tinawag nilang “Force for Good” ang bagong crown dahil, “The Miss Universe 2022 ‘Force for Good’ crown stands for a graceful reincarnation of The Miss Universe Organization’s long-standing values and heritage as a guiding light, shining bright to the future glory.”
“The new crown is also a dazzling illustration of both the challenges and rewards that come when young women advocate for causes close to their heart and strive to make an impact on the world,” aniya pa.
Dagdag pa ni Anne, ang nasabing design ay sumisimbolo sa patuloy na adbokasiya ng Miss Universe Organization para sa women empowerment all over the universe.
“As we are stepping into the new era of women’s empowerment, The Miss Universe Organization will continue to be a global organization run by women for women with a promise to serve as an inspirational platform that celebrates diverse women, supporting them to realize their ambition and build self-confidence, while evolving the brand over time to be more relevant and appealing to the next generation,” aniya pa.
“With this future-oriented approach, the Miss Universe brand is keen to take on a pivotal role in involving and engaging people on a journey toward social inclusion, gender equality, and environmental sustainability,” dugtong pang sabi ni Anne.
Magaganap ang 71st Miss Universe pageant sa January 14, 2023 sa New Orleans, Louisiana sa Amerika. Si Celeste Cortesi ang magwawagayway ng bandera ng Pilipinas sa nasabing pageant.
