Kuya Kim apektado sa pangdededma ng volleyball team sa mga fans sa Bora; may kumampi pero meron ding kumontra

MARAMING kumampi at sumang-ayon kay Kim Atienza pero may mga kumontra rin sa kanya nang pagsabihan ang ilang professional volleyball players sa Pilipinas.
Dismayado ang kilalang Kapuso TV host at Trivia Master nang mapanood ang viral na video ng mga miyembro ng volleyball team na Choco Mucho Flying Titans.
Sa TikTok unang napanood ang nasabing video na kuha ng isang netizen kung saan makikita ang pangdededma ng grupo sa mga fans naghintay sa kanila sa Boracay.
Maririnig sa video ang pagbati at pagtawag ng mga naroon sa mga pangalan ng star players ng team habang pasakay sila sa kanilang service van, pero halos lahat sila ay parang mga bingi na tuluy-tuloy lang sa paglalakad kahit pa nire-request na ng mga nagbi-video sa kanila na lumingon at tumingin man lang sa camera.
Tanging si Bea de Leon lamang ang tumango sa mga taong nag-abang sa kanila pero hindi rin ito ngumiti o kumaway man lang.
Isa nga si Kuya Kim sa nag-react sa viral video at sa pamamagitan ng kanyang Facebook page kahapon ay inilabas niya sa publiko ang saloobin hinggil dito.
Ni-repost niya ang viral video na may caption na, “As public personalities, (yes athletes are also public figures), we have a choice to inspire and show gratitude to fans who passionately support us or we can choose to stay private and give them the cold shoulder.
“This team should be advised that catering to fans is a responsibility, otherwise, stay out of the public eye and play privately,” ang mensahe pa ng TV host.
Sabi pa niya, “What an irritating yet sad sight. I hope they are advised by their sponsors to act properly in public. Back to you guys.”
Bago ang hugot ni Kuya Kim, nauna na ngang nagkomento ang motivational speaker na si Rendon Labador tungkol sa inasal ng volleyball team
Pagpuna niya sa mga player, “Sino po ang coach nitong mga ito? Dagdagan pa natin ng konti pang training sa good manners & right conduct.”
Ang iba pang miyembro ng grupo bukod kay Bea ay sina Deanna Wong, Kat Tolentino, Maddie Madayag, Desiree Cheng, Dennise Lazaro, Isa Molde, Odina Aliyeva, Jem Ferrer, Maika Ortiz, Regine Arocha, Pauline Gaston, Cherry Rose Nunag, Aduke Ogunsanya, Shannen Palec, Toni Rose Ponce at Caitlin Viray.
Samantala, iba’t iba nga ang naging reaksyon ng netizens sa naging pahayag ni Kuya Kim. May ilang fans ang naturang volleyball team na hindi sumang-ayon sa kanya. Narito ang ilan sa comments ng mga FB user.
“Sir Kuya Kim Atienza is one of the most approachable, magnanimous public figure i have ever met. sya pa mag mag sasabi sayo na ‘picture tayo?’ and would even be the one to take the photo/selfie. why? because he knows sometimes people are just too shy to ask for fear they would be rejected. After all, popularity comes from these people who constantly cheer us, happily watching at the sidelines kahit papunta na sa programa si Sir Kim, basta may oras pa, makikipag kwentuhan pa po sya sa staff and crew thats why everybody loves him.”

“Do they play volleyball for fans? I’m not a fan of them or volleyball. But they are not obligated to entertain their fans 24/7. Telling them to stay out of the public eyes, what? do you want them to not have a life? Hindi ba as fans (not a fan) of them you all should have an ounce of respect and understanding for their boundaries at times. So immature naman to call them out for such a small reason.”
