Not once but twice na nangyari sa kanya na siya ay feeling na-scam.
On his official Facebook account, ikinuwento ni Jed kung paanong napagsamantalahan ang kanyang kabaitan.

“Someone messaged me about gifting me a puppy and his only request was for me to send him dog food until the pup was ready to be sent. I thought that was it.

“But then, from dog food, he asked for vaccination payments (which I gave)… then asked for payment for registration (which I also gave)… and payment for delivery (you know I did)…
“Then the puppy got sick (daw)… then he was just waiting for the go signal of the vet for the puppy to be sent… then all sorts of alibis…
“That was in June.
“It’s now August…
“Looks like I was scammed again.” That was his aria.
“Oh yeah… and that previous post about me paying for a product ordered? It never arrived. And was never refunded. Haaaayyyy,” dagdag pa ni Jed.
Sa comment section ng kanyang official FB account ay maraming nakisimpatya sa singer.
“Nakopo people nowadays … minsan jan nasisira ang natural na tiwala … ngaun mas natututo na tau maging MAS AWARE.”
“LESSON LEARNED. A GIFT wont be a gift if they asked for money or something in return.”
“Let the universe take care of itself.”
“It was also scammed with adopting a dog and worse is co-breeder ko pa. Lesson learned never again. Ang sama nila parang pinagaralan ka to execute the plan.”
“I am the same. Thankfully I have a husband that protects me from these kind of scams. Thinking the best of people or having a hindi naman siguro mentality has dissapointed me so many times. But it is only a wakeup call to be wiser and more discerning, not less nice. I pray you will find a perfect balance Jed Madela.”
“True Jed. In my lifetime, same story. But I never lost my faith in humanity. I believe there are still a lot of good people in this world.
