NAGPASALAMAT ang dating Kapamilya actress na si Liza Soberano sa yumaong veteran at seasoned actress na si Cherie Gil.
Ipinagluluksa rin ni Liza ang pagkamatay ni Cherie na naging close sa kanya noong gawin nila ang ABS-CBN series na “Dolce Amore” noong 2016.
Gumanap silang mag-ina sa nasabing Kapamilya teleserye at mula nga noon ay naging close na sila kasabay ng pagsasabing napakarami niyang natutunan mula sa aktres.

Sa kanyang Instagram account, binigyan din ni Liza ng tribute ang kanyang “Mama Luciana” kalakip ang litrato at video clips nila together.
“Had the honor and privilege of working side by side with one of the industry’s greatest @macherieamour.
“Will forever be guided by your lessons and philosophies in acting and in life.
“You left us way too soon but your art and soul will remain with us forever. Thank you. May you rest in eternal peace,” mensahe ni Liza kay Cherie.
Sumakabilang-buhay ang La Primera Contravida sa edad na 59 nitong August 5 matapos makipaglaban sa “rare endometrial cancer.”
Sa official statement ng kanyang pamilya, nabanggit na talagang request ni Cherie na huwag munang isapubliko ang kanyang karamdaman.
“She then underwent treatment at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center of New York. It was her request that her diagnosis be kept private, and as a family we supported her in this decision.
“Cherie fought bravely against her illness, with grace and strength. Despite her struggles she always managed to exude courage and never lost her trademark sass, wit, and infectious humor, or her larger-than-life personality.
“She spent her last days surrounded by family and loved ones.
“In the end, there are no words – only love. Cherie lived with all her heart,” sabi pa sa official statement.
